Real Madrid have managed to clinch four wins in a row before the international break. In each of those victories, one name stands out on the team sheet: Álvaro Odriozola. The full-back joined the Whites just last summer, and has already hit a rich vein of form. Having gelled seamlessly with the current Real Madrid setup, he has shown defensive guile whilst also proving to be a handful in attack. In his four starting appearances for the team, he has provided his first goals and assists.
Amidst these promising results, Odriozola has made the starting eleven in three different competitions: in the Copa del Rey he played the full 90 minutes against Melilla; in LaLiga he featured in the wins over Valladolid and Celta; and in the Champions League he started in the masterclass away to Viktoria Plzen. In Melilla, he scored his first Real Madrid goal, as well as providing assists to both Benzema and Cristo.
