Jan Oblak is amongst the best goalkeepers in Europe. Out of the goalkeepers from the top four European leagues, (LaLiga, Premier League, Serie A and Bundeslia) Oblak has the third lowest ratio of goals conceded per game, in all competitions. The Slovene keeper has played 15 matches this season (11 in LaLiga and 4 in the Champions League) and has conceded nine goals. With these numbers in mind, his goals conceded per game average is .53 per match.
Having received eight goals in 16 matches (.5 per game), Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea holds the record for the lowest ratio of goals conceded per game, thus far in the season. Following the Spaniard is Barcelona's Marc-André Ter Stegen (.59).
This season, his stats have been as good as ever and he's kept a clean sheet in eight matches (six in LaLiga and two in the Champions League). He's also saved all the penalties he's faced this season (2).
Since signing for Atlético de Madrid in 2014, Oblak has shown himself to be one of the best in his position. In the past two seasons, he was awarded the Zamora trophy and wishes to repeat the feat in the 2017/18 season.
