Jeison Murillo has completed a dream by putting on the Barcelona shirt although it will not be complete if he doesn’t achieve his true objective in the next five months - get his loan turned to a permanent deal.
“My dream is to convince the club with my performances and keep defending this shirt. I have to show that on the pitch,” said the Colombian centre-back at his presentation.
In his first press conference as a Barcelona player he showed his gratitude to the club for opening “the biggest door there is in football” and also the squad for their reception.
“I am very happy with this opportunity. God opened the biggest door there is for me in football, it’s a dream come true. I am grateful too to the club and now I only have to work to make the coach decide (if I should play) in each game.
“My dream is to keep wearing this shirt but I have to show it on the pitch.”
