Vincent Kompany will have the opportunity of adding to his 82 caps for Belgium when the Red Devils take on Scotland and Iceland.
England trio Kyle Walker, Fabian Delph and John Stones are all likely to feature in the new UEFA Nations League clashes with Spain and Switzerland, while Oleksandr Zinchenko has been called up for Ukraine’s games with Czech Republic and Slovakia.
Elsewhere, Bernardo Silva will be representing Portugal for their games against Italy and World Cup finalists Croatia.
Benjamin Mendy is in France’s squad for Les Bleus’ games against Germany and Holland and, should they both play, he is likely to face team-mates Ilkay Gundogan and Leroy Sane, both on duty for Germany.
City’s German duo are also in line to face Peru.
Finally, Phil Foden will earn more valuable international experience for England Under-19s, who take on their Dutch and Belgian counterparts.
