Vinicius Jr. made his debut with the Brazilian national team in the friendly match played against Peru at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. The Real Madrid forward, 19, came on in the 74th minute of a match that ended 1-0 to Peru. His teammates Casemiro and Militão were also involved. Vinicius made his debut with the national team after having excelled in the Brazil youth categories, where he won the the Under-15s and the Under-17s South American Championships.
