Thirteen Real Madrid players called up for their national teams

Thirteen Real Madrid players have been called up to represent their national teams in the first international matches of the new season. Ramos, Nacho, Carvajal, Isco, Asensio, Ceballos, Varane, Courtois, Kroos, Modric and Bale will play the new UEFA competition, the Nations League. Casemiro and Valverde will take part in friendlies.

England-Spain (Saturday 8, 8:45pm)
Spain-Croatia (Tuesday 11, 8:45pm)

The Spanish national team will play two matches in the Nations League. The new coach, Luis Enrique, has called up Ramos, Nacho, Carvajal, Ceballos, Isco and Asensio to take on England away from home and Croatia in Elche.
 
Germany-France (Thursday 6, 8:45pm)
France-Holland (Sunday 9, 8:45pm)

The world champions are back in action after their win in Russia. Varane is part of the team led by Deschamps for their commitments against Germany at the Allianz Arena and against Holland at the Stade de France, both in the Nations League.

Germany-Peru (Sunday 9, 8:45pm)

Toni Kroos and Germany play the first Nations League match against the reigning world champions, France. The match will take place at the Allianz Arena, and three days later, the Germans will also play a friendly match against Peru.

Finalist in the last World Cup and recently named UEFA Men's Player of the Year, Luka Modric, is back with his national team. The Croats have two commitments, the first a friendly against Portugal in the Algarve, from where they will travel to Elche to face Spain in the Nations League.
 
Wales-Ireland (Thursday 6, 8:45pm)
Denmark-Wales (Sunday 9, 6pm)

Gareth Bale has been in great form at the start of the season and will lead the Welsh team after being called up by Ryan Giggs. Wales will play against Ireland and Denmark in their opening matches of the new UEFA competition.
 
Scotland-Belgium (Friday 7, 20:45)
Iceland-Belgium (Tuesday 11, 20:45)

The World Cup Golden Glove in Russia returns to international duty after the great performance by the Belgians in the summer. The first match will be a friendly against Scotland, while their second will be against Iceland in the Nations League.

Brazil-El Salvador (Wednesday 12, 2am)

Casemiro was named in the Brazil squad to play two friendly matches during the September international break. The Canarinha will travel to the United States to face the American national team in New Jersey. In the second game, Brazil will come up against El Salvador in Washington.
 
Mexico-Uruguay (Saturday 8, 3:30am)
Valverde was called up for Uruguay to replace Cristian Rodríguez's. The Charrúas will face Mexico in a friendly match in Houston.
