The Real Madrid trio of Eden Hazard, Casemiro and Eder Militao are all being held in isolation in their home after testing positive for COVID-19, and Los Blancos are waiting on the next round of medical tests to determine if the players will be able to return to training after the international break.
All three were absent for the fixture against Valencia, and they haven't been able to return to Valdebebas since that time.
For now, their next round of their COVID-19 health tests are set to take place at the weekend, with the evolution of the virus being monitored.
If the tests come back negative, the players will then be given a second test on either Tuesday or Wednesday before being able to return to training.
Real Madrid play on Saturday, November 21 against Villarreal, so in theory the players could once again be in Zinedine Zidane's squad for that fixture.
Whilst most of the Real Madrid squad have been away from the Spanish capital on international duty, Hazard, Casemiro and Militao are expected to be working on their physical fitness at home.
As was the case last term, the idea of this is to ensure they don't lose fitness whilst in isolation in the hope that they won't need any additional time to get up to speed once they return to training.
