Neymar was a happy man in Manchester on Wednesday after Paris Saint-Germain's 3-1 win over Man Untited. So much so, in fact, that he made some explosive comments in relation to the future of Barcelona's Lionel Messi.
Talking to ESPN, he said: "What I want most of all is to play with Messi again, to be able to enjoy him once again on the pitch. I want to play with him next year, for sure. We have to do it next season."
Asked what position he would play Messi, Neymar, laughing, responded: "He can play in my place, I have no problem with that! I will go."
With these comments, Messi's future will be in the spotlight again. The Argentine's contract is up next summer and he's not renewed with Barça.
During the last transfer window, he said he wanted to leave Camp Nou, but the club didn't let him. Now Neymar wants to link up with him again but he's not said where.
