Carles AleÑa will finish the 2020/21 season playing for Getafe, having completed a six-month loan move from Barcelona.
Ronald Koeman told the 23-year-old midfielder at the start of the season that he wouldn't get many minutes and that has turned out to be the case. The Catalan wanted to stay and fight for a place, but has now decided that the best thing for his development would be a loan.
He already went out on loan to Real Betis last season, when Getafe wanted him too.
Jose Bordalas is believed to be a big fan of AleÑa and now he has his man for the second half of this season.
At Getafe, AleÑa will play with his former La Masia teammate Marc Cucurella, who has enjoyed success since moving to the Azulones.
