Monaco beat PSG at Parc des Princes (0-2)
Monaco went to the Parc des Princes on Sunday night and beat Paris Saint-Germain 2-0, just a few days after the Parisians had thrashed Barcelona 4-1 in the Champions League.
Niko Kovac's side executed their game plan to perfection, defending excellently as a unit and being decisive when they had the ball, as they did the double over PSGin Ligue 1 this season.
As such, that caused Monaco's social media team to jokingly offer Barcelona any help if they need it.
"We beat PSG in the first leg and in the second leg," a tweet read from Monaco's Spanish Twitter account.
"Barcelona, if you need any advice, send us a DM."
This result has kept the title race in Ligue 1 alive, with there being a six-point gap between Lille in first and Monaco in fourth. Lyon and PSG are currently second and third, three and four points off Lille respectively.
Lille stay top of Ligue 1 with victory over Lorient (1-4)
Lille confirmed their position at the top of Ligue 1 for a further week at least with a 4-1 victory away to Lorient on Sunday afternoon.
In what was always going to be a difficult task for the hosts, who are fighting against relegation, Lille simply ran riot as they continued their fantastic 2020/21 campaign thus far.
An own goal from Andrew Gravillon put the visitors up after 20 minutes, although Jerome Hergault hit back with an equaliser almost right away.
It was a goal that didn't necessarily tell the full story of the match, and Lille reasserted their dominance with strikes from Jose Fonte, Nanitamo Ikone and Domagoj Bradaric.
