Mauricio Pochettino's Paris Saint-Germain bounced back from their loss to Lorient by beating Nimes 3-0 on Wednesday evening.
The Ligue 1 champions needed to keep pace with Lyon ahead of them and leaders Lille, and would have been relieved to welcome the worst team in France's top tier to the Parc des Princes.
Angel Di Maria opened the scoring early on. After cutting in from the right, the Argentine slotted home the game's first goal.
PSG had their second with just over half an hour played as Di Maria turned provider. Spotting the run of Pablo Sarabia, Di Maria played a nice ball over the top and the Spaniard headed home.
Kylian Mbappe hasn't had the best time in front of goal lately but he got himself on the scoresheet midway through the second half. Leandro Paredes picked him out and he finished excellently to seal the three points.
PSG stay three points off top, and one behind Lyon in second.
