FC Barcelona defender Clément Lenglet has opened the door for fellow French man Antoine Griezmann to join him at the Camp Nou next season. And despite his comments being laced with irony, the rumours surrounding Atletico Madrid's star man won't be going away any time soon.
In an interview with 'beIN Sports', Lenglet said this on Griezmann's potential arrival: "We'd be a lot of French men! If it's because of the number of French man, he won't be stressed. On top of that he speaks Spanish really well, so there won't be a problem."
He also spoke about his teammate Samuel Umtiti and his chances with the national team. "I already knew the politics from the coach. I believe I've shown my quality but the coach decides. He likes to use two left-footers and two right-footers. Knowing that I'm left-footed, there's just two spots up for grabs." However Lenglet understands he might need to wait his time. "There's Umtiti, who is a World champion and has been with the national team for a while. There's also Kimpembe, who also won the World Cup and is doing well at PSG."
