Atlético Madrid trained on Sunday as they begin preparations for their Champions League tie against Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday.
Koke
The good news for Simeone is that Koke could be back in action against the German club after missing Los Rojiblancos draw with Leganés. The Spain midfielder will have to wait until Monday to get the green light and there is a possibility of him missing out in mid-week to ensure he's ready to face Athletic Club on Saturday.
Dortmund
Giménez also trained with the rest of the squad, while Godín and Diego Costaremain sidelined, the Uruguayan defender with gastroenteritis and the Spain forward because of a muscle injury. Simeone's side will host Dortmund at the Wanda on Tuesday and will be looking for a more positive result to strengthen their position in Group A after losing to the Bundesliga side 4-0 in the first clash between the two clubs.
