Eden Hazard is aware that more is expected of him as a Real Madrid player and he is determined to start making the difference for Los Blancos.
Real Madrid will face Club Brugge in the Champions League on Tuesday night, which could be the first chance for Hazard to either score his first goal or provide his first assist, and the Belgian forward is confident that his talent will shine through.
"I feel good, it's true that people expect a lot from me and so do I," Hazardexplained.
"I know I can improve, I'm my hardest critic but we will improve by working every day. Maybe I'm a bit behind schedule because of the injury but I'm 100 percent ready now and I hope to do my best in the next games.
"[My lack of goals and assists] is not a matter of confidence. The coach told me to give my all, and I have to be the one who does better on the pitch. I have to make the difference."
Hazard's physique has been criticised of late, but he No.7 didn't want to discuss that matter.
"I feel strong, I didn't do any individual training plan," he stated.
"I have to do my best and all will be okay. Honestly, I feel 100 percent ready.
"As I said, I'm not injured anymore and I just have to score and be decisive. When I start scoring goals or playing well, it will all be easier.
"I just need a goal or an assist to bounce back."
For Hazard, the criticism he has come in for must be a new feeling, given that the supporters in England are not as vociferous as the ones in Spain.
"As I said at my presentation, I am not yet a Galactico," Hazard said.
"I have to be the one to prove it. We know very well the previous No.7s at this club and I have to prove that I can be the best in the world.
"I don't doubt myself, I trust myself."
