El Clásico in mind during Friday training

Having been given a day off on Thursday, the FC Barcelona squad upped their preparations for El Clásico with a training session on Friday morning.

The starters from the 2-0 victory against Internazionale in the Champions League undertook recovery work at the Ciutat Esportiva, whilst the rest of the available first team players were joined by Barça B's Chumi, Miranda and Riqui Puig .

First session with winter ball

The session was also the first with the new yellow winter ball, which will be used from Matchday 10 onwards.

Former FC Barcelona player Rafa Márquez was a guest of honour to watch Friday training. The next session will be held on Saturday morning at 11am, with Ernesto Valverde giving a press conference immediately afterwards to preview the game against Real Madrid.
