Diego Costa had warned that he still had a big part to play in the remainder of this 2019/20 LaLiga Santander season, and he proved true to his word at San Mames on Sunday.
In his first game back, Costa took full advantage of his first real chance, slotting beyond Unai Simon to draw Atletico Madrid level at Athletic Club.
Koke, as ever, was the assist maker for the forward, who did well to get the ball out from under his feet before tucking his finish into the corner.
The strike was Costa's third of the season, but it sends out a warning to the rest of LaLiga Santander that he's ready for what's left of the campaign.
To mark the goal, Costa tastefully raised a shirt with a special message for Atletico Madrid women's player Virginia Torrecilla, who had a brain tumour removed in May.
