Gennaro Gattuso's Napoli side booked a place in the Coppa Italia semi-finals after blowing away Spezia in the first half of a 4-2 victory on Thursday night.
Goals from Kalidou Koulibaly, Hirving Lozano, Matteo Politano and Elif Elmasbefore the break meant that the away side's second-half double amounted to nothing more than consolation.
Napoli will face Atalanta in the semi-finals, with the winner set to play either Juventus or Inter in the final.
Despite a stunning first half on the attacking side of things, Gattuso won't be thrilled by the way his side shipped two goals in the second half.
Emmanuel Gyasi in the 71st minute and Gennaro Acampora two minutes later cut the winning margin to two, and Napoli will have to improve before facing Atalanta next week.
Cup holders Napoli have conceded at least once in 12 of their last 13 matches, while they travel to face Atalanta in the semi-final first leg on February 3.
