The Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI) has ruled in favour of Napoli in their case against Serie A regarding their match against Juventuson October 4.
Napoli were initially given a 3-0 defeat and a one-point deduction in Serie A after not turning up for the game in Turin because of a coronavirus outbreak within the club.
Serie A's punishment came as a result of Napoli breaching the COVID-19 protocol put in place by the Italian Football Federation (FIGC).
However, the CONI have now upheld Napoli's appeal against the sanction, stating that the match with Juventus must now be played at some point.
As a result, Napoli have been given back the point they were deducted, while Andrea Pirlo's side have been deducted the three points they were given for October's win.
