After another assist from Vinicius to Karim Benzema against Girona on Thursday night, it seems another great partnership is forming for Real Madrid.
This connection is fundamentally based on talent, and their mutual understanding is evident on the field despite the vast age gap.
Benzema is having a fabulous season so far, while Vinicius has seen a meteoric rise, with both players helping each other greatly.
The Copa del Rey second leg against Girona saw Vinicius provide Benzema with a neat assist to make it 2-0 on the night.
It was Vinicius' third gift to the Frenchman in as many games, against Girona in each of the two legs of the cup, as well as one in LaLiga Santander against Espanyol.
Both players are proving many doubters wrong: Cristiano Ronaldo's goals were expected to be replaced by Gareth Bale, yet it is Benzema currently leading the line.
Meanwhile, the return of Marco Asensio and the Welshman were seen as the end to Vinicius' fun in the first team, but it was the youngster selected again in the latest triumph.
What seems clear at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu these days is that another potentially great partnership is brewing.
