Barcelona without Pique and Coutinho for Juventus trip

Barcelona coach Ronald Koeman has announced his squad list for the Champions League trip to Juventus and the Dutchman has not included Gerard Pique or Coutinho for the tie.

Barcelona face a challenge on Wednesday at the Allianz Stadium as they have never beaten Juventus in Turin. From the 1970/71 Fairs Cup, to the Champions League in 2017/18, the Blaugrana have tasted defeat on three occasions along with three draws.

Pique is suspended for the match at the Allianz Stadium, while Coutinho is injured and will miss the game alongside Marc-Andre ten Stegen and Samuel Umtiti.

That leaves Koeman with just two central defenders available - Clement Lenglet and Ronald Araujo. Matheus Fernandes has also been left out by the Dutch coach.

Neto, a former Juventus player, will have the chance to impress once again, as he has done in the absence of Ter Stegen, who has almost recovered from his knee issues.

The full Barcelona squad vs Juventus: Dest, Araujo, Sergio Busquets, Alena, Griezmann, Pjanic, Braithwaite, Messi, Dembele, Riqui Puig, Neto, Lenglet, Pedri, Trincao, Jordi Alba, Sergi Roberto, De Jong, Ansu Fati, Junior Firpo, Inaki Pena, Arnau Tenas.
