Ansu Fati will have knee surgery after injury

It is decided. Ansu Fati will have knee surgery. The Barcelona forward will take it on Monday after injuring the meniscus in his left knee.

Doctor Ramon Cugat will take charge of the surgery under the supervision of club medics. Barca say they will be able to know how long he will be out for after the surgery, approximately.

Different experts have spoken about the injury in recent hours and he will likely be out for between two to four months, depending on how the surgery goes.

Ansu injured his knee in a challenge with Mandi of Real Betis in the 5-2 win, earning a penalty which Antoine Griezmann missed.
